Raha Beverages Company Limited, formerly Banana Investments Limited, is a proudly home-grown Tanzanian venture that traces its roots back to the early 1990s. What began as a small-scale production of banana wine for home enjoyment soon captured the interest of many, prompting the establishment of a more structured production process. In 1993, we formally registered as Arusha Agricultural Products Enterprises and continued to evolve, becoming Banana Investments Limited in 1996.Today, we are a leading producer of banana alcoholic beverages in Tanzania, known for our dedication to quality, innovation, and the rich heritage of our craft.
Raha Beverages Company Limited began in the early 1990s as a backyard producer of banana wine, quickly gaining popularity and leading to a more structured production. Formally registered as Arusha Agricultural Products Enterprises in 1993, we evolved into Banana Investments Limited in 1996, emphasizing our focus on quality banana-based products. In 2019, we rebranded to Raha Beverages to reflect our broader mission of crafting beverages that bring joy, as “Raha” means happiness in Swahili.
